Top Fuel driver Leah Pritchett is racing the first Dodge Demon Drag Pak car in a special NHRA class called Factory Stock (similar to the old Super Stock class).

The Drag Pak car uses a GM Turbo 400 transmission, mostly because of its aftermarket support in the drag-racing world. It also uses a live rear axle, as opposed to the Challenger’s independent rear. The interior also has some minor alterations to make it ready to race, like a 10-point cage, extra gauges and a switch panel to control different functions.

Here are a few more tidbits about the car from the video:

3,675 lbs. (with driver)- min. NHRA weight
15X10 MT tires on front, 9" MT drag radials on rear
    1,100-1,300 hp. (blueprinted motor)
    Fuel cells
    Kirkey racing seats
Twin whipple- 17 lbs. of boost
    109mm throttle body
    4" drive shaft
Uses 60 lbs. of ice for cooling before each run (engine is at 55F degrees before race)

    Guessing this is a typo?

    I would be using 15 x 3 1/2” wheels on the front
And 10-12” on the rear with tubs

I should have said 15X4 on front and 15X10 on the rear.

Just keeping ya Honest man, just keeping ya Honest :)

And if they were so worried about keeping it cool,
just fill the block with concrete. (We used http://www.hardblok.com/ in the rail)
    and run alcohol.
