If they can get the rights back for the 'cuda name, maybe that can be produced too

Man, Dodge is really getting it together. Seems like the right people are running this company again.

I believe that All Amercian Racers, which owns Dan Gurney's AAR 'Cuda, has a patent on the name. That is what I've heard but, have no proof.

Did all the Barracudas have the full name on them, or was there a badge on the later model ones that had a 'Cuda label on it?

The 'Cuda was the performance model of the Barracuda, with the 340, 383, 440 or 426 engines. The exterior badging on the tail and hood (either standard or shaker) had the 'Cuda logo. The only place where a Barracuda emblem could be seen was on the interior dashbord (passenger side).

The "tame" model with the 225 or 318 engine had the Barracuda logo.

Yes, that is what I have read as well.

    The Barracuda had 3 levels.

The basic Barracuda was just that, basic. Slant 6 and 318 models

The Barracuda "Gran Coupe" was the "luxury" version, with nicer interior options

and the 'Cuda was the performance end. Larger engines and better handling
