    Which one?

Between a Challenger R/T Scat Pack, Hellcat or Redeye? Widebody safest or not?

Here is what I have found out so far:

The Hellcat and Redeye (8spd. automatic) may be just too much power to handle on a public street for regular daily driving.:driver: Getting that power to the ground can be deadly depending on how you apply it.:pokeowned:

If it rains you better be extra extra careful and if it snows?:shakehead:
Unless snow tires are available depending on the model of Challenger?

Even when dry the Redeye and Hellcat can break loose and at freeway speeds
    717 horses and 797 horses.

Will the widebody option make a difference on the Hellcat and the Redeye and keep them planted from spinning out?
Remember this the car will not be tracked but driven on public roads.

    Or?

Would it be safer (cost a lot less too in purchase price, insurance maybe reliability since there is no super charger) to go with a R/T Scat Pack 392 (best bang for the buck).
Then if a R/T Scat Pack 392 engine with 485 horses should it be the widebody option or not?

As you all know the Scat Pack in wide body comes with the Hellcat hood.
The regular Scat Pack you can get with the hood scoop which is much more cosmetic and pleasing to my eye.

I believe both hoods are functional for air release and induction but cosmetically that hood scoop looks so much better to me but then you don't get the extra traction that the widebody offers with wider tires, adaptive suspension and anything else I might have missed included in the widebody option vs. standard body?

So many choices that the Challenger has to offer can get a bit confusing.

    I had a hard enough time choosing pre-post 2014
an R/T vs SRT vs 6.1 or 392
My only MUST was the 6-speed and either BLACK or Hemi Orange

Every time I see a newer one, I like my 2010 even more.

Go with your 1st instinct, if it feels good, get it and DRIVE IT!

SXT Plus is the safest. I guarantee you won’t die in a 200 mph crash.

I'd go with the Scat Pack, 6-Speed, non-wide body. Best bang for the buck in my opinion.

Yes I have been thinking about this and would probably go with a Scat Pack over the two other models: the Hellcat and the Redeye because getting the power to the ground and spinning out are bigger problems with those supercharged higher powered Challengers.

The R/T Scat Pack may have same problem but not as bad as the two other higher powered Challengers but then I would go with the Wide Body option on the Scat Pack and in white so those added on fender flares won't look as bad. Then at least you get that adaptive suspension with the wider track and wider tires which would help get the power to the ground and make for a safer vehicle to drive. I would also go with the 8 spd. auto for better acceleration.
The Scat Pack R/T 392 Challenger is suppose to be the best bang for the buck. probably the one without the Wide Body option because you must add another $6,000 for that WB option.

So very true and I would have to get estimate from insurance company. I don't know how much variations there are between these three models of Challengers. It would be interesting to find out. i.e. Scat Pack WB vs. regular Scat Pack Challenger both have same exact 392 engine.
Then move up to Hellcat 717 supercharged horses then to top dog Redeye 797 supercharged horses and of course between those models with or without widebody options. Lots of choices here.

Yes that combo keeps the cost down not having to pay extra for the 8 spd. auto option, WB option which is $6,000 alone.
