I decided not to get new rims this year, but my tires don't grip very well so I do want to get some better ones... was thinking about 275/40R20 https://www.americanmuscle.com/nitto-nt555-g2-challenger.html

I'd put those on my stock srt rims in the rear, and I was thinking about leaving the stock 245s on the front rims.

Is that a bad idea? Should I get new front tires while I'm at it? If I do, should I stick with 245s or go bigger?

I put the car away for the winter. I haven't taken it to the track yet, and probably won't this year, but plan to next summer.

I have 245/45-20 Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 tires on the front of my SRT and 275/40-20s on the rear. I like the staggered look, but the only drawback is that you can't rotate them for maximum mileage.

I am running Nitto Invo tires, 275/40/20 in front and 315/35/20 in back. The wear rating isn’t as good as the Nitto model you are considering. Those should be great tires.
