I'm used to working on trucks, and older ones at that, so I need something to avoid scratching up my car fenders & front fascia.....any ideas ?

The ones I've seen don't impress me all that much...either too small, or not all that much protection.

I just used a couple of old beach towels with magnets on top to hold in place on the fenders.

The one thing I always do is make sure I’m not wearing anything with metal buttons or snaps or belts that will scratch the car when I’m working on it. I also use a set of fender covers I picked up at Car Quest.

    Well, I always wear jeans and a belt......unless I am intentionally nekked........:laughing1:

I have looked at maybe getting an apron of some kind tho to cover the zipper & buckle.....

I do have an old summit racing fender cover, but it's on the small side, and I only have 1.

I use an old quilt that I duct tape in place. Just don't tape it to the exterior of the car

I use moving blankets from habor freight. Large enough to just tuck in crevices. No tape needed. Be sure to use the soft side against your paint.
