Since Dodge cares so much, why has my Durango R/T been sitting at the dealership since January? Don’t believe me.. Run the vin VIN 1C4SDJCT6GC416264. Even the dealership is dumbfounded with the way FCA is handling this. I’d like to know why Dodge refuses to fix a car they built? I’m not try to start a fight, however I don’t think it’s an unreasonable request.

Hi FrankenMax, Thank you for reaching out and proving your VIN. Using your VIN I was able to locate your current case that is open with our internal team. Additionally, I have documented your outreach here so that it may be reviewed by your Case Manager. Please know that your Case Manager is in the best position to provide assistance moving forward. Thank you.

3 transmission 2 valve bodies. I’ve owned it 6 months. The car has been out of service well over 50 days. I can’t get into detail yet because of legalities. But I will say this, I’ve been treated better in third world countries. Considering I’ve spent over 150k in the last 4 years on Dodge vehicle’s. One would think they would want to hang on to customer like myself. I’ve got a lot more cars to buy in my life time. But my next one won’t be a Dodge.

Sorry to hear this issue You are having. You are not alone. My car sat at the deal for 8 months last year. I ended up taking them to court and they payed me and then released my car. My car went in for a oil change and then had major engine issues. They would own up to the issue and they where dragging on repair even though it had extender warranty. you may have to get the courts involved.

I retained a lawyer at the of end of January beginning of February.

FCA Rob, is hiding form this thread now! He probably shit his paints, when he seen my case. He doesn’t want the Public relations nightmare.

My 2016 Durango had transmission issues that never did get resolved. I finally just got rid of the vehicle. Great SUV but Dodge needs to get a handle on the transmission issues.

I tried for weeks to work with FCA. The costumer service is of absolutely no help. So yes, I had to get an attorney to protect my financial interest. I bought that car for my wife and kids. The vehicle is completely worthless. It’s not safe, I DID NOT get what I paid for. The dealership and myself have been told by your team multiple times “we are not fixing it”. Then it was requested that FCA make an exchange. Once again the response was “NO”. I asked to speak with your legal team. I was told “ we don’t have one”. That was my last straw, I got a lawyer after that. All of those conversations where recorded. This situation was completely avoidable. FCA will not take responsibility. FCA has to be held accountable. Further more I don’t understand your presence on this forum. Dodge dose not care. For everyone else reading this, jump on the NTSB web site. I was shock by what I found in regards to the new Durango. Lots of good reading. I know this is a challenger based forum. I’m on my second challenger now but I wanna make sure the members are aware of how FCA dose business. So Rob, you and your team keep doing what you do best, nothing. I know if I did nothing every day I wouldn’t have a job. So keep smiling every time you cash your check. You got it all figured out bud good for you.

That's exactly what prompted me to walk away from GM product years ago.
