Oh, almost forgot, there is still snow on the ground here and won't be getting the car out for a month or more. I'm sure it is that way in a lot of places which is why it is quiet right now.
Even the local guys haven't been posting anything on our own site.

I come to this form to learn the experiences/problems/general information other members have had with their challengers. Particularly the detail form. I have learned a lot on what to use and not to use/do when detailing.

I also read the General Maintenance form as I am not terribly mechanically incline. It helps me to understand current, or possibly future problems to lookout for. These are basically the two forms I follow.

I would probably disregard this post as Synoptic seems to be quite self indulged, above any normal human being in intelligence and analytics and no one will ever be able to give him advice or technical intuition on anything. Not sure why he is even looking anything up as he seems to know more than anyone before he even reads their input. I am guessing he is at least 20. No older than 29. I like this forum. I find it informative and get useful information off of it. I just don’t get on forums a ton. Mostly due to the assinine self absorbed mentalities of people like Synoptic that want to belittle people and act like they know what the F$&@ is going on more than everyone else yet complain about the lack of information they can obtain. Ironic.

To be honest the car culture has changed forums are the new form of cruising. You can’t go out on Friday night and line up like the old days. Now if you sneeze wrong it’s attempted murder. There are so many variables to this topic. I joined here for the tech and to BS with like minded people. I quickly found out there’s not a lot of tech. It bothered me for a while. But now I get it to a degree. The EPA has clamped down so hard they’ve taken a lot of the fun out of the hobby. State and local governments have choked us all. Most people that do mod the crap out of there cars, they stay quiet about it. YouTube has a ton of information good and bad. So where dose that leave the forums? Who really knows, I see things changing in the future. We will see an influx of guys picking up used cars and there will be an uptick in interest. I personally have grown to enjoy the site for what it’s is. The culture here is laid back most people are don’t to bent out of shape. I would like to see some regional meets and BBQs or cruises. When I lived in Illinois years ago it seemed like anybody and everybody was under the hood of a car. You would go to someones garage and just hang out. I live just outside Las Vegas now and to be honest the car culture here sucks. I haven’t met one single car guy in 5 years. A few weeks ago I was at the local parts store grabbing a few things and there was a plumb crazy purple Charger SRT out front. He walked out and I tried to complement on his car. He took one look at my car and brushed me off like I annoyed him. I am thankful there’s not a lot of drama on the forum. We have a good group of people.

I'm a new member but have been following this forum for over 3 years and I'm on my second Challenger in that timeframe. There's no other car I'd rather drive.

I just need to start participating on this forum.

My lease is almost up and my interest has waned. That said I also own an old Audi and I joined some Audi groups via Facebook which I find more useful than forums.

Have had mine for over 9 years now. it being a 2009. that is old technology for some as the newer ones have morphed into another tech zone. Would love to get a new one but that aint happening, mine is paid for and I like the no note plus I am paying on a 17 Ram now. I also belong to several Facebook groups. i just get tired of the same ol thing . like wheel Wednesday and front end Friday that kinds stuff. it can get real repetitive big time.

I also am a member of 3 other mopar/challenger forums. not much going on there either.
