Changing a member's screen name can only be done by the Administrator. Moderators do not have that authority. I'll ask Shaggy to make the change.

Funny you say you're going to take the Mrs for a "spin". In a Hellcat with those skinny tires, "spinning" is quite likely!:D

It has taken a bit to get use to the throttle pressure needed to keep them from spinning. Also while I have her in the car street mode is usually the standard....She’s not a big fan of spirited driving and when the digital speedo Is on display she can easily see how fast we are going.

I was wondering what the widest tires are that will fit on the 9.5” wheels. I like the look of the 275’s but your right about them spinning easy.

Never driven a Hellcat Widebody so I'm not sure how they do but the standard Hellcat I drove was a joke with those 275's. If you turned off the traction control, you were literally taking your life in your hands. I personally can't believe Dodge thought it was prudent to put 700hp in a car with such limited traction. You literally cannot use anywhere close to the car's full power on the street. What's even worse is when people go cheap on their replacement tires!

You definitely need to be smart about what you’re doing....I haven’t tested its full potential in track mode yet.
I’m actually surprised the put all season tires on them. I’d be curious how many are used in the snow. I should have had them replace the rears with a better summer tire but before I could mention it they had changed for stock. Live and learn....

My 305 summer tires are so sticky they pick up sand and small gravel constantly. Still, I spin them easily if I want to.

With 9.5 inch wheels, a 275/40-20 tire is the max. for it to wear and perform properly. A 295 would need a 10.5 inch wide wheel, a 305 would need an 11-inch wheel and a 315 would need an 11.5-inch wheel (with proper offsets).

Does yours have ECO mode you can choose ?? My SRT has track, sport, custom, default, and eco modes

That might be a better choice when she is in the car...I know on mine, ECO mode also skips 1st gear, so less wheel spin.....and you do have the black key.....you could always leave the red one at home......o_O

I dont believe it has ECO mode. Track, sport, street and custom. I usually keep it in street mode while she’s on board. The black key is on the hook in the cupboard where it belongs ;)
