Welcome William! How about an introduction and pics in the new members area? Good to see another fellow Canadian on here!
I think they call it "triple Nickel" as a not-terribly-mathematically-correct reference to 165mph aka triple the "double nickel" speed limit from the LAST time we thought the government had achieved nadir stupidity.
OR, this: https://www.fs.usda.gov/features/triple-nickles-75-year-legacy The famous 555th parachute battallion of firefighters. Why the weird stupid idea of putting ludicrously high number on their military/whatever groups is such an obsession with the USA, I do not know. There weren't 554 batalions before it. There was never a "100th Airborne."
My theory used to be that "triple nickel" was a reference to "the double nickel," but instead, 3X55mph, or 165mph, but by researching it, it became evident it did not. "The double nickel" was one of the weapons against the US people cooked up by the Custodians of Treachery. It directly affected the entire automotive scene. You don't want them to be relevant, but that has not prevented them from attacking their so-called people and forcing themselves into our worlds and on our attention. I can tell you that roads that were postively sedative at 55mph became alive and fun again when the speed went back up to 65mph. Even the superslabs in the flat Midwest were fun. I remember one at 85mph on a brand-sparkling (literally) new white concrete superslab highway. When the government continues to reach into things to screw them up, it gets odious. And, very often, they launch their latest attacks on us via attacking cars we like to own, drive, and work on. That is how it is relevant. Talking about home security may not look relevant to raising a family, until you have to protect your home because the same creep keeps trying to get in your home, tax you for owning it, and, ultimately, burn it to the ground. The very thing that is going on with the Epstein Client List that is evidently running the USA right now.
