Challenger Widebody line expands

Agree, but many, and i mean many, want to put SRT badging on the Scat Pack just because the engine cover says 'Powered by SRT' and the performance pages say SRT.

There WAS an SRT 392 model....and the SRT Hellcat & Demon.....but none of the Scat Packs are considered an SRT in any way by Dodge...which is why the window sticker never said 'SRT' in the section where it states the year & model/trim.

Without having specific info from Dodge to clarify, I'd say that the Scat Pack and SRT are a grey area at the very least. As of 2019 there is no SRT 392 and the Scat Pack is far more than in previous years. Beyond that, my particular car, the Scat Pack Widebody has a good deal of SRT performance parts that non-Widebody Hellcats have so I kind of feel that as of 2019 the lines are blurred between the Scat Pack and the SRT models. I really don't care and definitely won't be running out buying SRT badges for my car either way.

 

Not sure I agree...it is pretty simple....look at the upper left corner of your window sticker.......

Dodge doesn't consider it an SRT model, or it would say SRT Scat Pack in the upper left corner of the window sticker instead of R/T Scat Pack.

 

Can you not buy a Tazer to unlock some of the SRT functions on non SRT cars? I was looking at one to get line lock....but then I’d be buying tires every year which gets to $$$$$

 

yes, I believe you can.......I could get one to get line lock on mine......but it would void any warranty I have left (yes, I do still have warranty till 2/22)

 

That’s the other reason I didn’t get one.

 

Try getting some aftermarket way to get 6-piston Brembo brakes and adjustable suspension.
