So has anyone here had their 5.7 Hemi converted to a 392 or a 410 at Arringtons? If so, how has it worked out and exactly how much is it to have these conversations done and is it worth it. I’m considering the 410 conversation. I’d like to stay NA, forced air has its advantages but I don’t think it’s me.

I was thinking of going from 3.92 to 4.56 as I don't need the top speed in my SRT M6
but would have to launch in 2nd gear
Right now I am not hitting the right RPM in 3rd in the 1/4
(Hence why you damn A8's do better)

A lot more to it than that. As I recall our first two gears are lower than your first gear.

    Well THAT would be stupid.
I have enough traction problems with only ~425hp

I’m not talking about gear ratios I was asking if anyone here has had Arringtons do an engine conversion for them.

Gotta say, I was thinking he was talking engine upgrade but then when the issue of final drive ratio popped up I was thinking maybe I was wrong.
Personally, I can't imagine going down that route. Changing cars would be the better bet IMO.

It's true. In the R/T and Scat Pack, 1st gear ratio is 2.97 in the M6. 2nd gear in the A8 is 3.14 and 3rd is 2.11. For reference, 2nd gear in the M6 is 2.10 so your 2nd is the same as our third. That's why the A8 cars launch so hard.

Don’t think I haven’t thought about getting a Challenger with a 6.4 but there’s something that really appeals to me having a “sleeper” RT with more power than the stock 6.4 not to mention my insurance wouldn’t increase any lol but don’t get me wrong I know the RTs place in the food chain.
