dash cams

I purchased one on eBay, always used a radar detector but wanted a dash cam also, this one is both

 

Mini 0805 (A7 Ambarella) Not any better chip. Still operating after seven years. Excellent audio. Compatible or slightly better "night" video.: Viofo A119- Top of the line with Sony sensor Novatek chip.
The Viofo A119 is a bit better at night but both are excellent. I have some if you wish to purchase.

Not necessarily. If an injury exceeds the statutory threshold in 627.737(2)(a through d) you can claim pain and suffering against the at fault driver.

And no-fault doesn't apply to damage to your car caused by another driver.

Other no-fault states may have similar rules.

A dash cam could prove valuable even in no-fault states.

Best of my knowledge, in a no-fault state, after a motor vehicle accident, all parties involved must file claims with their own insurance companies and then it's up to the various insurance companies to pay damages to their customers and then try to recoup their losses by individual litigation with either the parties involved or their insurance companies.

 

You're referring to subrogation. There is no subrogation in a no-fault state. Each person buys his own Personal Injury Protection coverage. That person's insurance company cannot recover the PIP from a driver that caused the accident.

If a person's injury is such that it exceeds the statutory threshold he is permitted to sue for pain and suffering. It's up to him to do that. His insurance is not involved in that lawsuit.
