I'm not planning on racing or tracking my car after the supercharger like 86Face did, so I won't be doing drivetrain or transmission upgrades. For my purposes they're not needed. I did invest in an oil catch can and air/fuel gauge which are must have items when boosting from what I was told. Ordered my Ripp November 12th and should have it sometime in February. :)

This is where the whole V6 issue falls apart for me.
I totally understand that some buyers want the "look" of the car but aren't interested in the "performance" aspect so they buy the V6 car. But when people buy the V6 car and then dump a lot of money into performance mods, it simply doesn’t make sense to me. I guess people's interests change regarding their cars over time.

Well, even when I had my 2009 SE, I took it to the track a couple of times. Main thing was to get it into the 15’s...lol. But with a set of drag radials I borrowed, I finally did that. But I know a few guys that have put a pro charger on theirs and have run it a few times at the track, and seen them run 13ish times. But they don’t go to the track that much. But like you said, why sink that much into a car if you are not going to test it from time to time. I’d rather do my testing at the track than on the streets. Oh, and BTW, those that did put on a pro charger, didn’t do all the upgrades to the trans and axles. They were still stock in that area.

The reason I waited for the SRT was for the Suspension and the seats :)

Besides that, my only requirements was Black & 6-speed

Pretty much. It’s nice to have money. The supercharger will be my 31st mod in 2 years. I never raced and never will because I don’t have anything to prove to anyone. I plan on going to a strip about half hour away and paying $50 to do 3 quarter mile runs and then seeing what my 0-60 time is and trying to see how low I can get it. Other than that I will just keep doing car shows and whatnot.

I didn’t buy my car for performance reasons. If I was interested in that I would have bought something else. I’m adding the supercharger for myself, not because I want to race anyone. Not everyone races or needs the V8. A lot of guy buy the V6 and supercharge it to have a lighter and faster off the line car than the 5.7 Hemi while still paying less for insurance and gas.
