According to Stellantis,, in February 2021, all of the core elements of the SRT performance engineering team were integrated into its global engineering organization.

This action will have the two-way benefit of ensuring that our brands’ SRT and performance-focused product offerings continue to meet the highest quality standards and expectations, while delivering key learnings from motorsports and other high-performance-technology applications across a wider mix of our company’s product lines.

These products have delighted enthusiasts for nearly two decades, and Stellantis will continue to sell and develop the next generation of Dodge//SRT-branded vehicles, as well as Jeep and Ram vehicles that utilize high-performance SRT technology.

"In other words, the SRT division is no longer a collective group but instead, the team members have been dispersed among the Dodge, Jeep and Ram brands. While it is sad news that the high performance division no longer exists within Stellantis, the minds who brought us some of the best modern performance machines are still hard at work, developing the next generation of high performance vehicles. Sad news. If I had any respect for Dodge’s new parent company,I could understand/accept this move, but I don’t. European performance and American performance are two completely different mindsets IMO so I’m afraid that our vehicles are likely to suffer as a result of this move. Only time will tell.

They're starting to tape all the batteries together as we speak.

Nothing new there. He’s just saying what everyone else is.
Face it, other than Jeep, FCA’s American portfolio is pretty pitiful. Chrysler, Dodge and Ram combined only have what? Five vehicles? Not counting the Durango because I think it’s likely dead. Hell, Jeep alone has six!
Recent years have Dodge and Ram looking real good thanks to Americans shelling out huge money for old, warmed over product but that’s not going to last. I have to assume that the “big picture” looks bleak for Dodge and Chrysler. Could there be a next gen Charger or Challenger powered by an all new electric powertrain? Sure, but I doubt it would sell like the current models and since there’s nothing in the current Dodge pipeline, it would likely be a rebadged European model. Would that sell? An electric Challenger or Charger that’s just a rebadged European model. Doubt it. Here’s to hoping there’s modern powertrains in Dodge’s vault that nobody’s aware of.
