Cool looking caps. I've loved that crazy Bee since I was a kid in school.

If those are metal caps ... and if you have the aluminum valve stems ... you'll need to keep an eye on them for corrosion.

I bought my car as a Certified Pre-Owned when it was 2 years old. Part of the dealer's CPO treatment was to do a nitrogen (snake oil) fill on the tires and to put on metal/chrome caps with a green "N" on them.

Fast forward about 10 months when we were out of town and I needed to add some air on a cool morning (probably because the shyster dealership just changed the caps) and I couldn't get the caps off. A young guy at a nearby tire store also couldn't get them to twist off by hand. We finally used some Channellocks and broke them loose. I was lucky and didn't break anything because there are reports of guys snapping their valve stems just trying to remove metal valve stem caps that had corroded onto the valve stems.

I now have plastic SRT caps on my 2015 SRT 392.

LMFAO! That is where I bought my car.

And for the record, I check my pressure 2x per month so corrosion will not be an issue.

If you’re using metal caps I would use a small amount of anti seize on the stem threads to be safe. I had metal caps on my Journey which corroded and stuck on so bad that when I used a pair of adjustable pliers on it the stem broke off. This was even after soaking over night with a good penetrating oil. The TPM’s are not cheap.

I’d stick to plastic. I found a set for my HC.
