I would not go as far and say carefree, but more a different perspective on life these days. Life is too short to not live 100%.

    It is Octane Red

Yes I concur with you 100% on that. Time goes by fast and life is too short. I don't even see rock guards on any of the wheel wells. What year is it? And which part of the Earth are you on?
    Type of weather encountered?

$$$ don't have that luxury or choice. $$$ didn't fall through or grow off the tree.
So what kind of weather you put your machine through? What part of this Earth?

I feel the same way Farmer Fran. I have an older muscle car that I'm very careful with. I don't want it to get nicked up or dinged up so it only goes to cruises, car shows or places where I can control its environment. I do drive it when I can in the summer, but selectively. It hasn't been caught in the rain or had a drop of water on it in over seven years.
I got my R/T because I needed a daily driver when I retired and I wanted something fun and as close to a 60's or 70's muscle car that's got torque, has a good exhaust note but also with technology and reliability for long drives, vacations etc. Something I can and will take care of but won't be afraid to drive it and park it wherever I need to. I still cringe when I put the winter tires on it and drive on the salty roads during the winter, but am happy as hell when the summer wheels and tires go back on!

Wondering about dropping the hellcat engine in my scat pack challenger. No supercharger. Run as n/a but tune for race gas and nitro.
