So, as fast as the Biden cartel cancelled the Keystone Pipeline, Stellantis, the French conglomerate who owns Peugeot, and is now calling all the shots at FCA, put and immediate end to the Dodge SRT Division. This group is extremely into electric cars. So, people , this company, make no mistake is no friend of America and made no bones what they think of this whole muscle car thing. It’s the beginning of the end. So very very sad. I’ve always said , the Challenger is an amazing car , looks and performance only problem is it’s made by a bad company. Like Carol Shelby once said, this is all only temporary, enjoy it while it lasts. Liam Wilson Treasure Coast , Florida

All of the car industry is moving to battery powered cars- not just Stellantis. Dodge will still make performance cars, that may be even faster than those with internal combustion engines, but it won't be the same.

Agreed, just hate to see what’s left of Chrysler go down this way . Clearly, the Frogs have no interest in continuing any of this so the performance vehicles your referring to will be battery powered. Do you really think down the road this hodgepodge of anti muscle car overloads are going to continue any further advancement of the Hemi v-8 muscle cars. I don’t think so. This era is coming to a sad end and this swift action eliminating the SRT division would make Joe Biden jealous. The Dodge Brothers are rolling over.

I’m old school Dodge. Bought a new Barracuda in 73 which was the Plymouth division of Chrysler. And yes, they most definitely are. Rolling .

I previously posted this on another thread:

Mopar Insiders had an interesting article entitled, "The Supercharged HEMI Era Might Be Coming to an End, But Not Performance."

In the article, Matt McAlear, Dodge Head of Sales Operations, was quoted as saying, "There hasn’t been a date drawn in the sand saying you’ll no longer be able to buy an iron block HEMI anymore, but everybody knows it’s coming and they want to enjoy [it] while they can. Everybody knows electrification is coming, we’ll reinvent the muscle car as far as Dodge is concerned. I’m extremely excited about where the future is going, but right now everybody is enjoying the bachelor party. This is the last hurrah.”

While the current Dodge Challenger and Dodge Chargerwill continue in production until late 2023, the next-generation cars will have the capability to feature internal combustion engines (ICE) with mild-hybrid electric (mHEV), plug-in electric (PHEV), and even battery electric (BEV) powertrains. Proving that internal combustion engines will still be around for some time.

The last Hurrah …indeed. ☹️ Your absolutely correct, let’s just enjoy this moment. Before we know it we’ll be reminiscing about these times.

^^^ Solid spot on posts Liam. We will be reminiscing about these V8 powered times.
I've posted a photo of my V8 trio I own already but I'm proud to have these 3 in my garage and I hope I always will. I owned a 1974 'Cuda with it's 360 4 bbl a long time ago too. Not the greatest quality car but it was something I always enjoyed driving. My current R/T brings me back to those days.
I won't be buying anything electric unless gas is banned. P1010172 (2).JPG
