I love everything about my Challenger except the seat belt strangling me. I tried plastic belt stops, but the seat belt ends up hanging out the door. I tried seat belt pads, but they don't do anything. I had a car, can't remember the make, but you just gave the seat belt a tug and it reduced the tension on your neck. I think it had a fulcrum type mechanism. Probably regulated out of use. So now, I've just disabled the seat belt chime and take my chances.

When I have that problem with some rental cars I just put the shoulder strap under my arm and across the chest. Not the greatest solution but better than not wearing a seatbelt at all.

And to think how many people text, are on new drugs, and are just generally sidetracked by the curret "day-to-day" activities vs. "50 years ago"

And the actual amount of people on the roads today = the amount of collision chance exponentially increases.

I would rather buy a lottery ticket or swim with sharks.

I hate it too. I’m 6’2” 245-260 and it feels like a plastic knife rubbing my neck!
