This You Tube idiot says that the Challenger is "a car to avoid in 2022." He claims that it is unreliable, overpriced, under-powered and is being discontinued.

He cites a cheap interior, old styling, lack of thrills with the 3.6, and over-priced "bigger and bader" engine options.

Well that's HIS opinion, and it's probably posted just for 'clicks' which is why I did NOT watch it. That opinion is certainly not mine or anyone else's here. I would buy my R/T all over again, and not everything is about speed speed speed. I sold my LS3 C6 Corvette (that's really fast!!) to buy my R/T and I don't miss it one bit. This Challenger is plenty fast and as I've posted before, it puts me right back in my 1974 'Cuda for feel and experience. We won't even mention all the 'goodies' the modern car has.

Lol. My supercharged 2017 SXT Plus can run a 12.38 1/4 mile then get 30.2mpg at 76mph on the way home, and has never had any break downs. Guy's a douche who doesn't know what he's talking about.

The "old styling" is EXACTLY why it is outselling the Mustang and Camaro. Lol.

Surprised you don't miss your C6. Hope to own a C6 ZR1 some day.

After quite a few years of both C4 and C6 ownership, my wife and I got tired of the lack of space, especially in the C6 convertible. We found ourselves not taking the car on day trips and certainly not on vacation. That's us anyway.

The number of times I floored the C6 can be counted on one hand. Getting older doesn't change your mind about muscle or sports cars but the need for speed is not an everyday 'thing' any more. If I told myself that as a young man in his 20's I would have laughed at myself.

You will absolutely love the ownership experience of a C6 ZR1 one day as the performance is unreal. So much power in such a lightweight body. Even if you tire of it one day, like I did, you will always remember having one.

Owned and enjoyed a 92 for many years but decided not to invest the time and money increasing the hp dramatically (recently sold it to a 73 yr. old former mechanic, go figure). The last C6 ZR1 listed locally had jumped in asking price by 35% to 100k canadian but there hasn't been one on the market here for over a year. I purchased my C4 in Sacramento and may consider a revisit to the US for another purchase but can't as easily til covid restrictions change. Avoiding the Z06's due to major engine issue.
