2015 probably will be the last year. Seem to be going away from larger cars again.

I just want whichever model will give me the smoothest ride. Size wise I like the current Challenger as it has a big trunk and appears to be a safe car to drive because of its size and all the safety features. I already have a Corvette and a Mustang so now I want a car I don't have to baby or worry about curbs or bottoming out and don't want a stiff rough riding car. I think the new GT-500 sounds promising and for the $$ Mustang is a great buy. I haven't driven a GT-500 or Boss 302 but the ride looks stiff on the GT-500from what I could see from the driver bouncing around. Did test drive a 2012 Mustang GT and a 2012 SRT-8 which seemed to isolate the bumps and I could feel the difference with that adaptive suspension.

The Challenger is a great road car. The ride is awesome and it is great for long distance trips.

They have an 8 speed auto in the 300, so I don't see why they wouldn't.

They do? I thought they were only 5 spd. autos. Well when it comes time to order I am more inclined to go with the 6 spd. manual on this car (at no additional cost unlike auto option that has displacement on demand DOD) since my other car is a 4 spd. auto and other car is a 5 spd. manual. Been driving manuals for over 28 years now. Got tired of that then got the 4 spd. auto car and so now we are here but with comfort as priority #1.:chewie: :favorites37:

The 6.2 supercharged engine is coming closer to reality. There is now a sales code for it on starparts- it is "ESC."

Is there any confirmation on what this new Barracuda will look like or any specs?
If they make it similiar to compete with the Mustang might as well get a Mustang GT or a GT-500.:disgust::(

So far, its a tightly held secret. There are only three things known:

    1. The SRT model will have a supercharged 6.2 engine ( the 6.4 is being retained for "base" SRTs).
    2. It will not be a retro model, although it may have some styling cues from past
    Barracudas.
    3. It will be built on a new smaller and lighter chassis than the present Challenger for
    a much better power-to-weight ratio.

The SRT engineers must be pouring all of their efforts into it. There has not been a Chat session with them for over 6 months!
