Has anyone had issues with rattle from underneath the car. Dealer torqued hangers but still exists. Very annoying for a new 50k car. Any help? Worse in 4 cylinder mode.
I had a new 2014 Chrysler 300 C that had an exhaust rattle and the dealer couldn't find a thing that could be causing it. I did some checking myself by having my wife Rev the engine while I tried to locate the rattle. It sounded like it was coming from the driver side rear exhaust resonator, it wasn't loose or touching anything but that's where the sound was coming from. Took it back to dealership put it up on lift with person in the driver seat reving the engine an the service manager listened with me and sure enough it rattled. They replaced that resonator with a new one under warranty and problem solved. Not saying this is your issue but it could be a loose part inside of a muffler or resonator like my 300 had.
