This also excludes any thoughts of future investment value, in fact, anything at all but "what would you like for you, with no external motives like profit or cost?

If you were rich enough that it didn't matter if it was made of gold, like Goldfinger's Rolls Royce, or was collectible, or rare, or whatever, what car, like that not-terribly-attractive maid that Schwarzenegger knocked up, has your heart, guilty pleasure or not.

Like that girl (you might have married) that you just can't do without, given the opportunity, even if she's currently "going out with" some other schlub. (not encouraging girl stealing, just making the point of tell us your pleasure, even if it's a guilty pleasure.) (also, if there ain't no ring, there ain't no thing, to quote Billy Joe Watts.)

I have some candidates some of which I've only seen once in my life, but would totally rock.

With budget no object whatsoever, a Dodge 1971 Charger Funny Car running on methanol.
Just listening to it idle at a traffic light and pulling up next to some snot in some Snotmobile and dry-hopping it to challenge him to a race.


Driving it on the Autobahnen and REALLY hunting cars to whip up on. Cruising along in the Slow Lane at 70mph and then, when a Porsche or something else German flies by, hammering it and passing him at 170mph. Just catching up to him and flashing painfully-bright high beams at him to tell him that he needs to pull over as his car is too slow for the fast lane would be GOLDEN.

I'm thinking that good downforce and 3000hp would make for a fun day over in Chermany.
