got a widebody scat manual (no other packages) on order, should hit assembly this week...getting antsy, looking back over equipment, the Dodge site/brochures kinda suck. does a wide/scat/manual have 3.09 or 3.90 diff? different pages say both... does a 1320 auto have a 3.09 or 3.90 (son just got one- they told him it was 3.09, but specs say 3.90) does a wide/scat in B5 blue come with red brembos or black? see pics of both, I'm hoping they're red 1/4 mile times for auto/stick different? heck somewhere on the site it says widebody is supercharged on one page...know thats not correct thanks for any info- Tim
The Challenger 1320 only comes with an automatic transmission. Mopar Insiders reported a super fast 1/4 mile time of 11.70 sec. @115 mph. I am not sure about the 2023 model, but back in 2019, only the SRT came with red Brembo calipers. It was a $495 option on the Scat Pack (sales code XSP). https://moparinsiders.com/the-dodge-challenger-r-t-scat-pack-1320-returns-for-the-2023-model-year/
My equipment listing says it's a 3.90. Mine is plum crazy and has black brembos, so I can't speak to the B5 blue. Nothing in there about being supercharged.
You can determine the ratio by counting drive shaft revolutions per one full tire rotation. I suspect your manual will be 3.90 and your sons auto 3.09.
thanks, think you ar right- and that probably explains the gas guzzler tax on the wide but not the 1320... did confirm son's 1320 vin came with 3.09 according to Stellantis kinda surprised they are rated at 11.7 and 12.0 in the 1/4, just seems the 3.90 would be the quicker one- but then again, a transbrake, etc in the 1320 has it ready to jump hard enough it would probably still blow the sticky tires off if geared lower
