Dodge Car USA is reporting that a new Challenger EV is expected to be built on Stellantis' global STLA Large platform.

Are there any more details about it? Is it somehow related to the new battery plant they're building in Indiana?

Sorry, but I'm not interested in anything EV at this point. The subject is ridiculously political and is seriously lacking in common sense.

This guy made a fairly compelling video on why he thinks the hemi ultimately isn't going anywhere. I would tend to agree. EV's are a flop, as they should be and will ultimately only be a niche part of the market, in my opinion. At best, 50% of the vehicles on the road might one day be EV. And that's being overly-generous, I think. Even the holy grail of EV's, tesla, still wouldn't be making money if it weren't for selling "carbon credits". That's their REAL business, not manufacturing EV's. We're one sensible administration (or economic crash) away from all the ridiculous subsidies, tax credits, etc
    going away...

Having my ass handed to me enough times by a European broadened my palate. The same experience with an electric will gradually have an impact on peoples mindsets.
