Uconnect problem

    2021 Scat pack with Uconnect Nav. When I first start the car I have a completely black Uconnect screen. It's not until I put the radio on do I have power to the system. I then have to hit the acknowledge button to have the screen available to use. Is there possibly a blown fuse somewhere or is the unit bad ?? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Did you try disconnecting your car battery?

    If you did and it didn't resolve the problem, you may want to try a reset by touching the top right-hand corner of your screen (see video, below).

    Thank You. I tried the battery disconnect, that didn't work. Next i'll try the other reset.

    The resets did not work. It's like i'm not getting any power to it till I turn the radio on. Anything else you can think of ??

    Well if the radio is off then the screen should be black. It could be a users setting. Plus you can go to infotainment.com for information.

    I also thought it might be a setting. Nothing I could find. But I have no access to anything until I turn the radio on. I still wonder if a fuse that powers the unit when the car is started is out.

    You can try two more things. You can pull and reinstall the U-Connect fuse (see video, below). Or, you can open the radio and use Deoxit to clean the connections and the circuit boards.
