    Hey all,
Question. I’ve had catch cans on all my MOPARS so I’m familiar with how and where they go on stock engines. Just bought a new addition—13 Challenger RT with an Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger. The car has sub 15k miles and one owner who took real nice care of her.

I’ve not had a supercharged RT before and I’m not familiar with them.

Do I need a catch can with a Supercharger?

If so, can someone tell me where the lines to and from the can would go? I have a pic of the engine bay attached.

    Any help is appreciated!!!

I really don't care if a little oil gets in the intercooler, it has been getting in my Jeep Diesel for 18 years, I disabled the EGR.

My Ecoboosts are all direct injection, I worry more about the valves and ports getting coked up.

With a diesel not a problem, as long as you don't have an EGR. Soot and oil don't mix well.

Might be a marketing scheme to make everyone think, every engine needs a catch can?

Thank you. Great video. I have full confidence in catch cans and know their values. What I don’t know is where, specifically, in my engine bay do I attach both lines to the can? Thats my real issue. The supercharger is throwing me off as opposed to install on a stock 5.7 which I’ve done before.

If you can point to that on the picture or help in any way, it would be super appreciated!

Challenger Driver, what is the aluminum can next to the windshield washer reservoir with hoses going to it for?

    Fugg me…
Unbelievable. To quote Jack Nicholson in a Few Good Men, “Don’t I feel like the fuggin A-hole.”

I should’ve said in my original post I dont have possession of the car yet—it’s in transit from a broker and the owner is unreachable to ask. I wanted to get a jump on knowledge of how to do it. I scoured that damn picture before posting too. Unreal.

You’re a life saver Sexy Blue. Thank you…lol.

That was my thought, looking where the hoses are routing to the intake in the front, and to that square thing in the back, just didn't want to spit it out. So looks like Challenger Driver is good to go! His new to him Challenger has been protected the way he wanted it to be.
