Modified 5.7 that even after getting the car back from Arrington Performance pings like crazy. And yes I've run good gas. Anyone with similar problems that can steer me in the right direction to getting it tuned. Pings after 2200-2500 RPM regardless if 1/3 to full throttle. Have talked with Arrington and still waiting for a response. Just got the car back from them 2 weeks ago.

Just take it back to them. Sounds like the tuning issue they have to get worked out. Don't let them tell you otherwise.

Are you hearing the pinging or seeing ST KR on a gauge? Shouldn't have knock at 1/3 so curious if something else is giving a false knock/sound.

Arrington's has a great rep, so I would think if it is something they did, they will fix it.

Any interest here on the R/T front? I'll give $100 off on the first 2011/2012 Challenger R/T order. We are seeing 4-5 tenths reduction in ET on 392 SRT-8 in the quarter.

What is the best way to get rid of wheel hop other than launching and not pushing the gas pedal down so fast. Fathers answer. Not mine. I have looked at the Hopnot product. I t seems like it works but would like to hear from some folks other than the dealer. I have a 2013 R/T 375 HP Six speed manual tranny.

It's one of the things you have to live with when you have IRS.Autos with their TC to cushion the effects seldom have the problem. Mustangs tried it about ten years ago and the dedicated racers switched to the 9" straight axle rear ends. Ford dropped it but are going back to IRS. For road racing and daily driviing it improves handling. Stiffer urethane bu.shings help considerably, but ride comfort suffers. With the built in torque control it is apparent the 6 speeds are not suited for the dragstrip. There are many options , Liberty, Jerico, Lenco and several others, that offer clutch assisted shifting, clutchless and what have you.All are designed with dedicated drag race cars in mind and can handle 1000 hp and not break. Most are not street friendly. and they are costly!
