Check out this 2009 426 Petty Signature Series Challenger SRT (numbered), with a Magnesson blower. It was in a major flood, however, and will take a massive rebuild. Do you think someone will buy it as a project car from Salvage Auction? Its original sales price was $100K. Start at the 17:30 minute mark. A '$100,000' Dodge Challenger Is Hiding At AUCTION!
I do not anticipate it fetching a very high price at auction. Completel-sodden interior, even if placed in a vacuum chamber to evaporate every last water molecule, faces the issue of mold and mildew potential, and would require a complete interior replacement, and examination of every single electrical and electronic device.
It flooded over the roof. It would require complete disassembly. I would not trust that any major component survived. The foam in the quarter panels could not be dried out and will likely rust. The electrical might could have been saved if checked early enough. Same for the engine, transmission and just about all mechanical parts. If I had the money, it would be a hard pass for me, and I can be pretty optimistic on rebuilds.
