    Hi, All

I run a machine shop and want to replace the cheap plastic door lock knobs with some nice polished Titanium ones I machined up. They're complete and came out beautiful but remain unfinished because, for the life of me, I cant figure out what threads to put in em... The originals look like some kind of molded plastic form threads but I can get a 6-32 STI thread gage partially down about 4 turns.

I've searched and searched and cant find any info on this. Does anyone know what threads these are?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I don't know the thread size, but you can get really nice billet ones for only $29.99. Billet Technology was formerly an aerospace contractor and makes high quality parts. I have many engine bay and interior pieces on my SRT. Check out my garage photos.

You can save 40% on their once a year one-hour sale. It should be posted on their web site soon. Here is the link to the door lock knobs.

    Thanks for the reply...

After some checking at the local Tacoma Screw I found the thread size is (metric) M5 .8

No problem. Bought some taps and we're good to go.

    Thanks again.
