What colour is your Scat Pack? Looks like the Redline tri-coat pearl

 

I had the S/C installed at the beginning of 2015 when the Hellcats were way over priced. Mine has a safe tune in it and by that I should not be breaking anything with the amount of boost that it has (4.83 lb). Plenty of power for around here, with 472 RWHP and 478 ft/lbs of torque.

 

I have to say probably the largest allure of the Hellcat is the sound of the super charger. I think that started many years ago when Stallone did the movie Cobra. I believe it was an old Mercury coupe that had a S/C in it...with the sound being a little exaggerated. The other reason I am considering changing cars is due to many years of hard use I am destine to have a shoulder and knee replaced. Doc says I need to book surgery for my shoulder soon. I sometimes find the shift to 5th is not the most pleasant feeling. Due to this I think the automatic would be better long term.

I too LOVE supercharger whine. You REALLY gotta like it with the Hellcat because it's VERY noisy. Surprisingly noisy actually. My other "fun" car is a 2003 SVT Cobra which is factory supercharged. That car is far less noisy. Lower throttle angles give you a cool low turbine sound not unlike a jet engine sound and then higher throttle angles give you the full-on supercharger whine. With the Hellcat, it's always whining. I assume most people aren’t used to supercharger whine so it's cool at first. Being used to supercharger whine I gotta say, it kind of annoyed me after a couple minutes.

 

Before that, you had Chuck Norris in his supercharged ramcharger.......like 3 yrs earlier

Well, we went and had a good look at the car. Its in awesome shape and sounds great. Such a nice deep exhaust note for having a stock exhaust. I’m going to think about it over the weekend, put some $$$ down for them to hold it. I just wish we were in different times right now to make the decision easier.

When I found my 2010 SRT, (with less than 9k miles) there was NO QUESTION.
Especially when I "FOUND" 360 Share I forgot about.
