It's probable Chevy will opt for either the 237-hp 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine used in the CT4, or the 310-hp 2.7L turbocharged 4-cylinder upgrade used in the CT4-V for base models. The leading candidate for the SS model will have new 6.7L LS6 V8, producing 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque, using a 13:1 compression ratio, forged internals, and dual port/direct injection.
