5.7 hemi problems

    what would cause a popping sound coming from the exhaust on my 5.7 hemi I put new plugs in not to long ago its got a 6 speed manual transmission the engine has 97 thousand miles on it and it has a tick that you can hear really good some days and other days you can hardly hear it

    Is it a popping sound or a ticking sound.....you mention both....or is it 2 different things ?

    Yes, the more detailed info you can provide the better. Did the popping start before or after you replaced the plugs? Can you hear it at idle, when accelerating or only when decelerating?
    Stock exhaust or any mods done to it?
