Has anyone called Chrysler's 800 customer service number recently? I heard that it is hard to connect with a live person in Canada and when you leave a message, you often don't get a call back. If this is true, customer service has reached a new low from the days in 2008 when all calls were outsourced to India.
I had warranty work done on my SRT8's front fascia. They had the dealership take pictures and send them for determination if it would fall into the warranty category. After 2 weeks, the lady from the SRT Division called me and stated that it did fall into the category of warranty work, I had to co-pay $150 (terms of my extended warranty) and that she already cleared it with the warranty company, called the dealer herself and told them to order the needed parts. The dealer had it color matched, and it took them a bit to get it right. But $150 out of pocket instead of over a grand, was preferred. You have to find the right dealer. I did this through the local Chrysler dealer instead of the Dodge one. The Dodge one can suck a fart from my 4th point of contact. The Chrysler guys redid my key FOBs, took pics of the warranty issues and looked over my car before the Dodge guys would even have an appointment made to look at all of the above issues. I was persistent though.
