I've done 21 mods to my car in 22 months. For every one I did, at least 1 person told me not to. I gotta be me.
If everyone customized their cars in line with popular thinking, nothing new and interesting would ever be seen. Hell, when I was doing consulting for Cadillac back in the 80's and 90's I kept trying to get them interested in doing a FTS (Fleetwood Touring Sedan). They thought it was a bad idea so I did it myself. Turned out when I started showing the car online and at shows it was a hit.
