    An inaugural year 2008 Challenger SRT sold at Mecum for $43,000. The sale price was about the same as the original MSRP.

    I’m very happy to see this happen. Although it’s an auction price; there is a lesson to be learned here.
    I just read in a 2008 forum about a owner that totaled his SRT8. His standard insurance will only pay $20,000.
    Think about a classic car insurance company that will allow you to choose true value reimbursement.

    i guess i would make money then, i bought mine in 2008 3/4 #1642 even W/ customer preferred package 22X *loaded* my car sticker ed for $41,985 Which i bought much less than sticker. good to know.
