I just bought this 2017 RT. I hate the skinny stock tires. 20 x 8 rims.

I am having a rough time figuring out what wheel and tire combination to use to get a better stance and traction.

I don't want the tires sticking to far out since I don't want to put the wide body kit on it. 20210327_163701.jpg

I'm not generally a fan of all black wheels but they seem to suit yours. Some are running 295's on 9 in wide wheels. Not all tire shops may be in agreement with doing it. A 285, even a 275 with a minor amount of lowering would improve the stance and traction.

A 275/40-20 tire is the widest that you can use on a 9-inch wide wheel for it to wear and perform properly.

I have this size on the rear of my SRT and the look is perfect.

Nothing beats the original MOPAR Rallye wheels.

I'd go with something like this...

That's what I searched for and could not find a modern version of. I'd of snapped them up quick to have the original steel wheel look

Exactly. Problem is, Rallye wheels resized to 20" looks horrible. 18" might be passable, 17" would work. 14" and 15" are the original size MOPAR wheels. To get OEM 15" retro Rallye wheels to work, the brake calipers would need to be smaller. Wilwood calipers may work, but then there's the modern MOPAR 115 bolt pattern. What I'd like to see is a complete hub and brake caliper conversion kit that would let us use the original 15" Rallye wheels. Why MOPAR decided to put sports car wheels on a muscle car is complete mystery?
