    Greetings,

I just joined the Dodge forum today. Extensive research was conducted prior to making a purchase (2013 Dodge Challenger SXT). Many forums have made no mention of the electrical issue which could cause a fire with the SXT. I believe the build dates affected were December 2012 to January 2013. The wiring harnesses ordered to resolve the problem by Chrysler were configured wrong. How this stands at this moment is unknown. Also, the number 2 cylinder head on the SXT had an issue as well. Most were Wranglers. However, head numbers for the right side (RL141353AC), and left side (RL141353AC) AND ABOVE ARE o.k. A julian build date of 2062 means it is one of the newer heads. If anyone would like to address these issues, please feel free.

Irrespective of the above, I currently own an Oldsmobile, Cutlass Supreme Brougham, 1986. This was the lead vehicle in the motorcade at the 100th Anniversary Oldsmobile Birthday Celebration in Lansing, Michigan. I'm the original owner, as the vehicle has trophys, and a plaque. Video is on You Tube. However, they no longer make Oldsmobile, so I'm purchasing a Dodge Challenger tomorrow. The six will give me better gas milage, and 305 horse is sufficient. I'm almost a Dodge owner. Anything I should know about the SXT?
