    Does anyone have any experience with "purple ice"? It's a cooling system optimizer by royal purple. It gets good reviews ;

    Some are saying it runs 20 degrees cooler after adding. I could see how this may be possible, maybe the fluid has better heat transference but, what's the catch ? (Say gunk up the water pump?)

    Has anyone ever used this?

    used to run it in my race car due to fact we were not allowed antifreeze in the cooling system due to length of time it took to clean up track during accidents. So we used purple ice in the strait water in the radiator. i really think this may be a flow enhancer (or drag reducer) like pipelines use to allow the the water to flow through your system faster and allow for better cooling.

    Really not worth the cost on short runs on the street or track IMO
