I am in the process of getting a replacement nav sytem for my 21 scat pack. My questions are, I assume I need to get a nav/radio out of a car that has the performance apps on it. And do I need to get one that has the harmon kardon radio since mine has that ??
Not sure on all your questions, but if you are looking to get a used radio I would investigate if you could just swap it out without going to a FCA dealer. Also you can go to infotainment.com for new radios.
I know I could swap it out if I can find the correct radio. I not knowledgeable enough to know if I got another nav radio from say a hellcat, will I have all the functions I now have. I have the harmon-kardon system in my car. Will the new radio have the systems functions for that radio can the service dept reprogram the radio with those functions. Especially if the new radio has nav on it, but no upgraded sound system.
I bought one from https://infotainment.com/ You input car and radio options. They will setup a radio programmed for your vehicle. I got one for my wife's Charger, and was able to upgrade to Nav in the process. They were very helpful.
