That thing was so sexy. I still remember the big fat sidepipe someone had on one of those in some car magazine.

 

It only came in black.

 

I remembered it specifically in blue.
I didn't even remember that it was available in black.

Also, I LIKED hot hatches. Not sure why they quit making them.

 

I remember the GLH model as being black

 

But, they were so hot.
Anyway, I found out on the 'net they were available in black, also
Curious what their brakes were like. If anything needed good front brakes, it is the fast front-drive cars with their suboptimal weight bias.

 

The GLHS was only in black....the GLH came in other colors.........

 

Oh. What was the difference?

Would anyone other than me buy a Challenger if it had high-spec suspension and stuff like the Hellcat but it had a BIG turbo four-banger? They could call it the GLH Hellcat.

I would LOVE to boost that sucker like a turbo F1 motor from the 1990's and pull the pants down on Hellcats.

Oh. maybe that's why they don't make one.

 

The black GLH Omni was a Shelby adventure with Dodge.
Do any of you remember those Dodge Chargers that had the 2.2 engine and this Charger was a hatchback. I believe it was around 1982 to 1984 if memory serves me correct.

I would buy a Challenger SXT now instead of any of the V8 Challengers just because of the bad theft going on. I don't want to deal with those problems. I don't want any trouble.

 

But, fearing theft is not really a way to live, yes?
