Anyone have problems with the front tires wearing out. I have just over 12k and the front tires on the outside are worn beyond belief. Have taken to the dealer, discussed with Chrysler HQ, and Goodyear. No support from any of them. Any advice or similiar problems out there.

Just met another Challeger SRT8 that had over 20K and his tires had very little wear.

Every 4,000 miles or 6 months I rotate the wheels especially with 20 inch rims you have to.
Though mine is a R/T all 4 tires look like the day it was bought 21 montha ago and 15,000 miles ago.

Rotating them is the biggest help. I would also check to see if they are balanced, maybe a weight is missing.

Or adjust your air pressure for the spirited driving.
I always run at least 40 PSI and after 10,000 miles,
    they are worn straight accross.

My Chally was so out of alignment when it was
delivered NEW, the steering was at 2 o'clock
instead of 12 o'clock rolling straight down the interstate.
I have the alignment results from the dealership. Maybe
I can get a pic of the results up here soon.
It is very interesting of just how far it was out...
And yes, we do require a FOUR wheel alignment
with the IRS rear end. :)

How many times have you rotated your tires within that 12k miles?

Oops dummy me he has a SRT and rotating tires cannot be done due to staggered tire sizes.
Have to brought it in to see what is wrong yet.Are you lowered.
Just curious as I was thinking or a SRT suspension setup and of course I'll need a wheel alignment once done.

Can't you take the tires off the flip them? As in take the front wheel off, remove the tire, flip it and put it back on?

My SRT8 has only 14,000 and I noticed the tires were starting to wear on the outsides, esp the drive side. A couple of weeks later I am now down to metal!! I am taking the car in on Monday morning and am hoping this will be covered??
