Did you know that any engine mods, tuning (P1400 code will show with any tune) or long tube headers will void your new car warranty?

If you have a new car still under warranty, it would be wise to wait until it expires.

Appearance mods, CAI, cat back are okay, however.

I do not know all the ins and out and never had anything dealer installed, but I have read and been told early on that if the part was in the Mopar performance catalog and you purchased it through them "dealer installed," they would cover under warranty? Unless they changed their policy. That was in the past there has been a lot of changes since then.

Most dealers will not worry about exhaust mods after the oem cats. But they say they warranty is not valid on the aftermarket exhaust for some reason. :)
I remember back in 72 when I purchased a new 340 Cuda the dealer said they would still cover the entire engine if I replaced the cam as long as it was a mopar performance cam.
