    Yes! It does.

I used my '15 SRT 392 M6 as a daily driver for all of 2018 running the streets of Jacksonville, Florida. But the city driving was never an issue really. There are no hills in Jacksonville but the Hill Start Assist did come in handy the day when a tall bridge was under repair and I had to crawl my way to the top. The only other times my knee got a little tired were traffic jams on the interstate due to accidents .... once on I-75 just south of Ocala, FL and once on I-26 south of Columbia, SC.

Hill Assist... nice. Reminds me of when I taught my son how to drive his five speed 96 Cavalier back in the day, I showed him the "parking brake assist". The lever for the brake was right next to the center console. When he was on a hill, all he had to do was pull it up to be stopped keeping his thumb on the disengage button. As he started to let out the clutch he just slowly released the parking brake.

^^^ That's funny. My elderly neighbor, now in a nursing home, used to drive his manual cars in this fashion when at a steep intersection here in the mountains. He was really good at it. He has 12 'collector' cars and they just sit at his home waiting for the eventual day when they will go to relatives or auctions. So sad but I appreciate the memories that you reminded me about. Thanks!

I wish the Challenger had a hand brake instead of a foot brake for the parking brake.

Since installing a Banks Pedal Monster, A8 shifting is more responsive. Without it, accelerator travel (slop) is excessive, which (in my case) led to that sudden launching effect. You would think the effect would happen sooner, but this isn't the case. I'm driving in Orlando area traffic, which can be a nightmare. Prior to installing the PM, driving in standard mode was out of the question. Sport mode is great, but the extended RPM's result in increased heat. It's not the 8 speeds, but the shifting routine that the problem. The pre 2016 TCM update shifting routine was my favorite. I tried to get MOPAR to flash my TCM with the earlier routine... No dice!

Giving up the wife is exactly the thing to do, in that situation! Or, never get married. That's the angle I'm sticking with!

^^^ Don't give up on the thought of getting married. There are plenty of good 'car women' out there. You just have to make it abundantly clear that your hobby and enjoyment of life involves cars and that it always will be. You will be able to tell if the ladies are receptive.
My wife drives all my cars and I taught her to drive a manual in our new Mustang GT 4 speed way back in 1982. No complaints from her and she likes Mustangs to this day which is why we still have one, only this time it's a 5 speed manual. She is not thrilled with the steep inclines here in the mountains but she does well. She is not a car nut by any stretch but has enjoyed driving the Challenger, the Trans Am, and before that a 911 (6 speed manual) and a BMW. Pretty cool considering her first car was a 1975 Gremlin. She bought it new when in high school and we went on our honeymoon in it in 1977 as I didn't have anything reliable. That shows how poor I was back then but she didn't care. :love51:

NC is right! My wife and I just celebrated our 40th Anniversary and my '77 TransAm played a big role in how we met. You see ... we were the accidental couple in a long-distance, double blind date in January 1979 designed to match a friend of mine with a friend of my wife. I only agreed to go because I'd only had the TransAm a couple of months and wanted to take a road trip. And my now-wife only agreed to go because she was told that the guys were coming in a TransAm. And we still do car-related things together like cruise-ins and a car show or two each year. We nearly always work a speedway tour or museum into our vacation plans. In 2020 we included the Mopar Meet in The Mountains event in our vacation including a run on The Tail Of The Dragon together. And that can be rough from the passenger seat.

A few years after we were married, I taught her how to drive a manual in a '79 Datsun 280ZX. And while we had "responsible" vehicles when our daughter was young, we also had fun-for-their-time cars like a '90 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe, a '93 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, and a '99 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. Plus she fully supported my decision to buy a '05 Pontiac GTO when I handed the Grand Prix GTP down to our daughter.

We still laugh about the night in 2007 when we were talking about replacing her '02 Grand Cherokee and she said, "I'm not exactly sure what a Hemi is ... but I want one." That resulted in a '07 Charger R/T coming to her side of the garage ... followed by a '13 Charger R/T ... followed by a '17 Durango R/T. Hey ... my side hasn't been slacking. A '11 Challenger R/T Classic followed the '05 GTO ... followed by a '16 Chevy SS ... followed by my current '15 Challenger SRT 392.

So yes! It's just a matter of finding one of the good car women that are out there.

^^^ Great stuff!! Oh man, how bad am I that didn't even think about trips and vacations. Our entire Rte 66 trip in our Trans Am this past Spring was car related, even staying in some so-so overnight accommodations.
Yeah, we are lucky dudes for sure.
