    For a map light I would just go to Costco and get that 3 pack of LED reading lights that clip onto a visor. It will be brighter than any map light that is built into the vehicle. Plus you can move it around.

    No need, the bulbs I have in the map lites are VERY brite LED now.

    I don’t have the wiring diagram in front of me at the moment, but the orange/white wire is the hot wire, one is a ground, one is for the lights behind the buttons, and I forget the 4th one. Go to the McDowell County (NC) library website under resources IIRC, you’ll see the Chilton’s Automotive Manual listed. Password is nclive001 I believe. I’m not at my computer at the moment.
