BTW, during hard cornering the front shock towers are being pushed apart at the tops in a McPherson strut front end. (I know ours are not McPhersons.)

I saw an ad for a cowl brace for the Porsche 911 back in the day that pointed out that the badly-designed "cowl braces" marketed by competitors, merely placed outward tension on the two shock towers, making things worse. Good design would just tie them together, like the ones used on Challengers, not foolishly just push them apart like the cheapsters used on 911's used to.

They'll find a way to back out of the warranty even though they should keep their contract with you.

I'd say just Go For IT!

I would highly doubt it would void any of your warranty!! They are the ones selling it to you
