Any real news on when the new EV model will be available?

Wonder if Racer X has ever thought about racing in NASCAR?

 

1. Personally I like the styling of the. charger, a few more retro ques maybe the 68 only bullet lights on the fenders.
2. The inline 6 TT AWD could be doable If the pricing was in the 30K range. The electric version IMO needs a lighter battery that would need to last 500-800 miles on a charge with all max power drain being used while driving, then a small 911 battery back up too that you could switch over to.

 

If the engine internals on the 6 TT's can support greater than factory boost levels it won't be long before tune options and bolt-on's will be available to increase performance. Do you have any info as to what differentiates the 2 offerings (420hp compared to 540hp)? Might turn out that the 420hp version could easily and cheaply become the 540hp version. I have very affordable entry level inline 6, 3.0 liter TT N54 2007 BMW 335's (an auto and a manual with factory 300hp) which were designed with forged engine internals allowing for huge, safe boost increases. On stock turbo's for $1500 these cars have become known as 'Scat Pack Eaters' by incorporating The Burger Motor Sports tuner and a few bolt-on's, the tuner also allowing for cheap E85 fuel use. BMS currently make a tuner for the I4 Turbo Dodge Hornet, so it may not be long before they and others mfg. a tuner for the Hurricanes.

She's (my Challenger's) a bit of a garage queen so I'm not polluting the air as often as most owners The original owner tastefully improved the car and I got her relatively cheap (actually traded this 2012 370 Z for her which I couldn't eliminate the rear wheel hop on despite hours of IRS improvements).
