I have never encountered fake spark plugs. I buy from reputable suppliers. It is not worth the gamble and labor, to save a few bucks, to install 16 spark plugs that may not function properly.

I finally ordered a set of the NGK iridiums from RockAuto. If you buy them in packs of 4, they're a little bit cheaper, so I got 4 of the 4 packs. Total was $6.04 each, with tax and shipping it came to $112.50. They are the NGK 2314. They came gapped to .050, and to be sure I checked every one, and they were all right on. Took maybe an hour to change them all, being careful and cleaning everything real good. Car is happy. :D
