    Interesting car this new Charger, I'll have to wait to see one in person before I decide if I like it or not. Looking up the specs on it, Yep it sure has some weight to it = 5767 lbs.

    I think there are very few cars out there that look as good as a 23 Charger optioned out correctly. That said, I love my 16 SRT Challenger.

    Just for clarification on the wt of the new Charger, is this wt referring to the EV ? I would assume it would be heavy with the large battery. How much does the ICE engine Hurricane inclined six Charger weight

    The 5,767 lb. weight refers to the EV model. I haven't seen a figure for the Charger with the Hurricane engine. We should see something official in a couple of months.

    That being said, here is my rough estimation. I think the Charger will weigh 4,852 lbs. (a 915 lb. savings over the EV). This is how I calculated the weight:

    5,767 lbs. (EV) less 1,356 lbs. batteries= 4,411 lbs. (without batteries)

    4,411 lbs. + 441 lbs. (Hurricane Six Pack engine)= 4,852 lbs. (ICE Charger).

    Note- I assumed that the weight of the EV's electric motors would be a trade-off with the Six Pack's drivetrain and transmission).

    If you plug in these numbers to the 1/4 ET calculator, you will get 12.42 sec. @115 mph. for the Six Pack.

    In an attempt to spur Charger sales, Dodge will be releasing a new high-impact blue color called Bludicrous. It joins seven other exterior colors- After Dark, Destroyer Grey, Diamond Black, Peel Out, Redeye, Triple Nickel and White Knuckle.
