I suspect you're aware Tom that the Lucid gets to the 1/4 mile finish line ahead of Demon 170 and Tesla Plaid.
As far as I'm concerned neither of the two vehicles you mentioned should not even be named as a competitor against the Demon or any other gas powered vehicle. This is like comparing an apple to a watermelon, their not the same. I personally don't care for EVs and do not consider them as a vehicle I would want or own.
It's interesting about some of the vehicles in the list, some are EVs which in my opinion do not count and then there are others that most people have never heard of. Also most of the vehicles other than the Challengers and the Hennessey are in the hundred of thousands or millions of dollars which to me makes the Dodge vehicles even more amazing being a factory built production car with a suggested price from the factory of just a little north of one hundred thousand dollars.
It is what is.. All these times are track times and benefits nobody going to the grocery store or on a road trip .
