Here is a recent video where Racer X discusses the differences between an R/T and Scat Pack Challenger. Also discussed, is the question if the Scat Pack should be labeled an SRT.

Personally, I think that the 6.4 Scat Pack should remain an R/T. Back in the day, the R/T model had a variety of engines- 340, 383, 440 or 426.

The SRT label should be used only for the Hellcat or Redeye.

Very true in fact that is what I daily drive now a Corvette. But now I need more space inside the car and that's where the Challenger wins with alot more space/trunk space.

Add the dynamics package, or one of the other packages that makes the tires at least 275 wide will help. But if you plan on changing wheels after you get it, then it doesn't matter. Really, the tires, and their width will help out a ton. Go for at least 275s or 305s.

Why not go for the WB option then you get the tires and adaptive suspension for that extra $6,000 plus a few other do dads?

Ok it is now 2022 and Consumer Reports gives the Challenger 5.7 and big thumbs up:worship:
But does anyone here know if the Challenger SXT Penestar V6 in the long run going to be less maintenance and problems when bought brand new? Same question especially for the 392 ScatPack widebody Challenger??:worthy:

Get the ScatPack, with a Shaker if you can, and customize the crap out of it. Make it your own and NEVER Sell it. If you keep it for 20+ years, every dollar spent today will be well worth it at the end. No Regrets.
